We danced in the circle around the fire hoping for the Great Spirit to guide us in the right direction.
The children seemed lost not knowing how they should dance. "Toe heel, Toe heel" an elder cried out. "Toe heel" he said again,Toe heel".
As hours past, people became tired and no longer wanted to dance, but their Chief encouraged them to, he said " The Great Spirit goes on and so should we, try hard my people, my sisters, my brothers, look at the people around you! You are all connected like one!"
Oh bird oh bird, little bird at my window perched upon that little
branch, why do you sit so nice when you're way up there all alone in
that big tree? Don't you get lonely ?|
Oh bird oh bird, little bird on my window perched upon that little branch, why do you not talk like I do? All you do is sing and sing some more. But who do you sing to little bird?
